Mark Sheptoff
Mark Sheptoff started his own financial planning business in 1997 after becoming a Personal Financial Specialist in 1996 through the AICPA. In 1975, Mark co-founded one of the larger independent CPA firms in Connecticut, Sheptoff, Reuber & Company, P.C., a graduate of Central Connecticut State University; member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, PFS Division of the AICPA, and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants; member of the Board of Directors of Glastonbury Bank & Trust from 1978 to 2000; former member of the Board of Directors of TD Banknorth Connecticut; former member of the Board of Directors of The Rushford Center and former Chairman of The Board of Rushford Foundation; Incorporator of Liberty Bank; recognized by Fidelity Investments in 2000 for investment firm growth, and utilized in national advertising by Fidelity; recognized by Wealth Manager magazine in their annual survey of Independent Investment Advisors for 10 years, 2003-2011 as one of the Leading Wealth Management firms in the U.S. Also, recognized as a Top Registered Investment Advisor by Financial Advisor magazine in 2006-2008, 2010-2018.
